Hawks blank Truman State in series opener
The Rockhurst baseball team shut down Truman State on five hits to open the weekend with a 3-0 victory over the Bulldogs Friday night at Bourke Field. Gavyn Dockery (2-3) held Truman to five hits over seven innings with one walk and six strikeouts. Freshman Ryan Joyner retired all six hitters he faced to pick up his first save.
