Herons fall to #43 Thoroughbreds on the road

SARATOGA SPRINGS, N.Y.— The William Smith tennis team fell 9-0 to No. 43 Skidmore this afternoon in a Liberty League matchup at the Wilton YMCA. The Herons fall to 4-8 on the season while the Thoroughbreds move to 5-3 overall. Skidmore defeated William Smith in all three doubles matches to open the action. Juniors Natalie Haythorn and Julia Pida posted the closest match of doubles play, falling to Ella Provost and Katie Wong 8-3 in the No. 2 spot.
