Jaspers Go Down 3-2 in Final Game of Series

RIVERDALE, NY - The Manhattan softball team lost the third and final game of their home series against Rider, 3-2. The Jaspers lost the series this weekend two games to one overall. The theme of this game early on was pitching. Both teams' starters did not allow a run with Manhattan's Mollie Charest and Rider's Jessie Niegocki, each tossing four shutout innings. Both relievers would throw a shutout fifth inning, before a Rider solo home run would break the scoring drought in the sixth.
