Lancers win opener over Germantown

BROOKFIELD — Brookfield Central pulled away with three runs in the bottom of the fifth inning and took its season opener over Germantown, 5-2 in a Greater Metro Conference baseball game Friday. The Lancers went ahead for good with a two-run output in the home half of the third.
