Mavericks In Second After Opening Day of Upper Iowa Spring Invite

WATERLOO, Iowa --- The Minnesota State women's golf team shot an opening round 327 and is in second following the first day of the Upper Iowa Invite. The Mavericks are a shot behind conference foe Winona State who shot a 326 and 41 shots ahead of third-place host Upper Iowa who shot a 368. Five Mavericks are in the top ten as freshman Victoria Woytassek is in second with a six-over 78.
