Men’s Track & Field Finishes Eighth at Private Championships

WAUKESHA, Wis. – The Concordia Wisconsin men’s track & field team competed at the Wisconsin Private College Championships on Saturday. The Falcons finished in eighth place as a team with 36 points. The Firebirds of Carthage claimed the title with 162 points. Senior Timmy Brey (Cedarburg, Wis.) collected a fourth-place finish in the 1500-meter run at 4:06.57. Junior Bernie Van Den Heuvel (Valders, Wis.) qualified for the 110-meter hurdles finals and finished fourth at 16.35. He also led the flock in the 200-meter dash in 32nd place at 24.65.
