NGU Splits Doubleheader to Take Series Against Belmont Abbey

Tigerville, SC - The North Greenville Crusaders split a doubleheader this afternoon at Ray & Bea Dillard Field to take the three game series with game one of the day ending in a 7-0 shutout loss, but was followed by a 7-5 win for NGU. North Greenville faced a dominant performance by Belmont Abbey starting pitcher Drew Stegura, who went on to pitch a 7.0 inning shutout while allowing just one hit and two walks while striking out seven. Landon Shaw posted NGU's only hit of the game. Reece Fields ultimately took the loss, just his second of the year....
