No. 17 baseball splits ODAC matchup on the road
Ferrum, Va. – The University of Lynchburg baseball team split a doubleheader with Ferrum on the road Saturday winning game one 14-1 and losing game two 3-4. In game one, Lynchburg scored seven unanswered runs through the 5th inning. Quinn Madden highlighted the scoring with a two-RBI single in the first driving in Eric Hiett and Benton Jones. Wesley Arrington made his eighth start of the year on the mound. Through six innings of work, Arrington struck out seven allowing one earned run.
