Outdoor Track competes at Slippery Rock

SLIPPERY ROCK, Pa. (April 6) – The Waynesburg University outdoor track & field teams continued their 2024 season at the Dave Labor Invitational at Slippery Rock on Saturday. The Jackets notched six top-eight finishes on the day. Andrew Kasper (Orchard Park, N.Y. / Orchard Park) improved upon his own school record in the men’s 10k as he ran 32:31.84 to finish second. Luke Whisel followed in 14th (35:31.51). Quintin Weaver (Rimersburg, Pa. / Union) ran to a runner-up finish in the 800 in 1:56.76. He was 17th in the men’s 5k in 16:22.84.
