Rodriguez Breaks Into NCAA Top-10 in Hammer Throw at Ursinus Track and Field Festival

COLLEGEVILLE, Pa. – Widener Women’s Track and Field made strides nationally with new top times in the nation at the Ursinus Track and Field Festival. FRIDAY Jillian Walker opened the meet for the Pride in the discus. Walker marked a 27.23-meter throw which fell just shy of her personal best mark by 0.18-meters. Tatiana Carr took the high jump where she hit a height of 1.50-meters. Carr would take third overall. SATURDAY Opening Saturday’s competition was Isabel Rodriguez in the hammer throw.
