Softball Gets Back on Track, Earns NEC Win Over FDU

TEANECK, N.J. — The LIU softball team returned to action on Saturday afternoon when it took on FDU in conference play. The Sharks jumped out to an early 1-0 lead in the second inning after Alyssa Polemeni's fourth home run of the season. LIU added another run on Jazmine Cuffie's first RBI single of the season in the top of the fourth.
