Trinity College Upends Bates, 6-3, in NESCAC Women’s Tennis Play

HARTFORD, Conn. — Bates College women’s tennis, playing its second-to-last match of a spring season-opening stretch of 12 road contests, journeyed to Trinity College Saturday where the Bantams beat the Bobcats, 6-3. Despite the final score, the garnet and white did record a few highlights. Bates’ top doubles duo, Ally Friedman and Iris Westmoreland (Fy.), landed a victory in the #1 position with an 8-5 defeat of Trinity’s Ella Baker and Josephine Kimball.
