University of Southern Maine Track Team Shines at Coast Guard Academy Invite

NEW LONDON, Conn. – Graduate student William Carrolton (Bath, Maine/Morse) and junior Jacob Jackson (Auburn, Maine/Edward Little) each won events for the University of Southern Maine men’s track & field team on Saturday at the Coast Guard Academy Invitational. Carrolton placed first in the discus with a mark of 46.11m and Jackson won the high jump at 1.87m. Track Event Highlights: Sophomore Maddox Cahill (Sunapee, N.H) placed second in the 400-meter hurdles with a time of 56.35 seconds.
