Women’s Golf opens spring slate at Grove City

GROVE CITY, Pa. (April 6) – The Waynesburg University women’s golf team opened its spring slate with a sixth-place finish at the Grove City Spring Invitational at the Grove City Country Club on Saturday. The Jackets totaled 511 strokes to finish sixth of seven teams that participated in team scoring at the event. Maeve Hanley (Punxsutawney, Pa. / Punxsutawney) led the Jackets with a 23rd-place finish in at 107 strokes. Avery Robinson (Ravenna, Ohio / Ravenna) finished three shots back to place 29th.
