Martin has quality start, bats cold in finale vs Cougars
COLUMBUS -- Brandon Martin (1-4) put together a quality start allowing just two runs over 6.2 innings, but the Sand Sharks bats went cold as Columbus State shut out USCB 2-0 in the series finale Sunday afternoon at Burger King Stadium. Martin struck out seven and only issued one free pass before giving way to fellow senior Tucker Dove, who worked the final inning and a third of the game allowing two hits and punching out two.
