Men’s Track & Field: Scots set Personal Records at Outdoor Select

WAVERLY, Iowa – The Macalester men’s track & field team competed in the Wartburg Outdoor Select this weekend. Junior Aiden Yang (Eugene, Ore./South Eugene) set a personal record in the javelin throw to take second. His mark of 53.64m (176′ 0) ranks eighth in Macalester history. Fellow junior Arlo Heitler (Hastings, N.Y./Hastings) took second in the 400m with a time of 48.81. Senior Drew Getty (Colorado Springs, Colo./Cheyenne Mountain) took fourth in the 800m run with a personal best time of 1:56.68.
