Wolverines compete at SRU

SLIPPERY ROCK, Pa. — The Grove City College women’s track and field team produced numerous notable finishes Saturday at Slippery Rock University’s Dave Labor Invitational, held at Mihalik-Thompson Stadium. Junior Ella Lyle (Hurricane, W.Va./Ignite) helped lead the Wolverines at Saturday’s meet by finishing third in the 3000 steeplechase. Lyle completed the race in 11 minutes, 50.10 seconds. She finished one spot ahead of junior Virginia Williams (Copley, Ohio/Copley), who finished fourth in a time of 12:04.01. Grove City finished fifth in both the 400- and 1600-meter relays.
