CNU Freshman Kylie Schaefer Nets Coast-To-Coast Player of the Week Honors

NEWPORT NEWS, Va. — After a 3-1 week on the courts for the nationally-ranked Christopher Newport women’s tennis team, freshman Kylie Schaefer was named the Coast-To-Coast Athletic Conference Player of the Week. For the first time in her career, the Roanoke, Va. hauled in the weekly honor from the C2C while Christopher Newport shut out Virginia Wesleyan, 9-0, before suffering a loss to nationally-ranked Carnegie Mellon.
