Farrington wins 1,500 meters for third straight meet, highlighting UMASS Flagship Opener for men’s track and field
AMHERST, Mass. — Senior captain Ned Farrington won the 1,500 meters yet again, and the Bates men’s track and field team had a strong day against Division I competition Sunday at the UMASS Flagship Opener. The Bobcats scored 43.5 points as a team, good for eighth place out of 12 scorers at the meet. Farrington (Cohasset, Mass.) scored 10 points for his win in the 1,500, racing to the finish in 3:50.52.
