GC women’s golf team moves up to capture runner-up honors at Wartburg Spring Invite

Results WAVERLY, Iowa – Grinnell College’s women’s golfers jumped a spot to second place in the final standings, finishing only behind ninth-ranked St. Catherine University at the Wartburg Spring Invite Sunday. The 20th-ranked Pioneers followed Saturday’s round of 335 at Waverly Municipal with a 331 for a two-day final score of 666. That pushed them from third to second in the 12-team meet. St. Catherine finished at 643. Meilin Hoshino ’27 and Sara Meneses ’26 led Grinnell, tying for seventh in the 64-golfer field with 165s.
