Hesketh Repeats As LEC Rookie Field Athlete of the Week

PROVIDENCE, R.I. – The Little East Conference has announced its weekly award winners in women’s track and field and UMass Dartmouth student-athlete Emily Hesketh has been recognized. The first year thrower was named the Rookie Field Athlete of the Week for the second straight week after another outstanding effort. At the Coast Guard Spring Invite, the Kingston, Mass., native finished third overall in the hammer throw with a distance of 42.78 meters (140’4″).
