Jaycee Ginter named MIAA Pitcher of the Week

KANSAS CITY, Mo. -- Washburn senior pitcher Jaycee Ginter has been named the MIAA Pitcher of the Week for action ending last week helping the Ichabods to a 4-0 weekend in sweeps at Nebraska-Kearney and Fort Hays State. It is the eighth time Ginter has won either the MIAA Hitter or Pitcher of the Week award in her career at Washburn. The No. 24-ranked Washburn Ichabods will return to action on Friday hosting Pittsburg state at 4 p.m. and Saturday facing Missouri Southern at noon.
