TEANECK, N.J. — The LIU softball team wrapped up its series at FDU in dominant fashion on Sunday afternoon, shutting out the Knights 4-0 and 8-0 in five innings. In the first matchup, the Sharks struck first an a two-RBI double from Alexia Castro in the third. They would score again in the fifth on a wild pitch and again in the seventh after another Castro RBI double. Alyssa O'Donnell finished her complete game shutout with seven strikeouts.
