Men’s Tennis Defeated by No. 28 Auburn Montgomery
LIVINGSTON, Ala. - The University of West Alabama men's tennis team fell to No. 28 Auburn University Montgomery, 5-2, at the Vaughan Tennis Complex Sunday afternoon. Lucas Hammond and Jacob Tapia (7-3) started off doubles play on a high note, taking down Alex Verdasco and Agustin Marquez 6-1 in the top flight. Despite AUM clinching the doubles point by winning flights two and three, Vilislav Bonev and Caden Goldammer took No. 34 Titouan Le Maout and Adrian Contreras to the wire in the No. 3 flight, falling 7-5.
