Oumar Ballo enters transfer portal: 5 possible landing spots

North Carolina had a sour finish to another strong season overall, losing in the Sweet 16 despite having a veteran-laden group under Hubert Davis. Among those players was center Armando Bacot who is out of eligibility after five years and 168 starts for the Tar Heels. North Carolina should still have some nice young talent in its frontcourt next season with Jalen Washington and incoming freshman James Brown, while senior Jae’Lyn Withers could also return for his fifth and final year of college basketball. However, a dominant, seasoned big man like Ballo could be something Davis targets this offseason. Ballo would bring plenty of experience to the table for the Tar Heels and could be a piece who helps UNC avoid a large drop-off next season, particularly if RJ Davis returns.
