Outdoor Track/Field Sides Participate In Coach Omeltchenko Invitational

Kings Point, N.Y. – Both Lehman College men’s and women’s outdoor track/field teams participated, on Sunday, in the annual Coach Omeltchenko Invitational hosted by United States Merchant Marine Academy as Lightning finished in the top ten in nine overall events. The women’s squad was led by Arlene Suzana as she captured the silver medal in the 3000 Steeplechase with a time of 14:02.04. Suzana also finished ninth in the 800 meters clocking in at 2:57.26.
