Congratulations to our Owl of the Week for April 1-7, MATTHEW WINDHAM of the baseball team. Matthew helped MUW to a 3-1 record last week, including a three-game series sweep of Eureka College (previously unbeaten in SLIAC games). Matthew batted .500 (9-18) - with a double and a triple to his credit - scored six runs, drove in six runs, had a sacrifice hit and sacrifice fly, and was 3-for-3 in stolen bases. He also had a perfect 1.000 fielding average in 13 chances in centerfield, where he made several run-saving catches during the week.
