Shaw Named Ivy League Pitcher of the Week

NEW HAVEN, Conn. -- Junior right-hander Colton Shaw has been named Ivy League Pitcher of the Week. The league announced the award on Monday. Shaw threw 6.0 innings without allowing an earned run to earn the victory over Penn on Sunday. The Texas native struck out five while surrendering six hits and working out of several difficult jams. Shaw has been fantastic in Ivy League play this season, pitching to a 1.89 ERA while striking out 21 over 19.0 innings.
