Softball Goes to Extras Twice

The Muhlenberg softball team captured the second game of a doubleheader at Dickinson to cap a full weekend of play. The Mules (16-9, 3-3) lost a doubleheader at home to Washington on Saturday before splitting a pair of thrilling extra-inning games at Dickinson on Sunday. The final score of both games at Dickinson was 6-5, the first game in 10 innings and the second in eight. It was the first time since 1997 that Muhlenberg played a doubleheader in which both games went into extra innings, and the first time it ever happened in a Centennial Conference twinbill. In the…
