Throwers shine at Chicagoland

The Aurora University men’s track and field team competed at the Chicagoland Championships hosted by Elmhurst University on Friday, April 5th and Saturday, April 6th. The Spartans placed 11th out of 21 teams with a score of 29.5 points. Cam’ron Harper was the meet champion in shot put, throwing a 47 centimeter personal best of 14.62 meters. This mark is ninth in school history. Steven Tinsley placed second in the event with a mark of 14.60 meters.
