Toledo Falls 8-2 in Series Finale to Kent State
TOLEDO, Ohio – The Toledo softball team suffered its first home loss and saw its five-game winning streak snapped in an 8-2 loss to Kent State on Sunday afternoon in the finale of its three-game series at Scott Park. Toledo (18-14, 9-3 MAC) won both ends of Saturday's doubleheader, 8-4 and 4-3. Kent State took a 3-0 lead in the second inning and built an 8-0 lead in the top of the sixth.
