Top Doubles Pair, Diaz Earn Wins for Men’s Tennis in Loss to WVWC
FROSTBURG, Md. – The Frostburg State Men's Tennis team dropped their MEC opener on Monday afternoon to West Virginia Wesleyan by a final score of 6-1 at home. Sophomores Cole Alcala and German Diaz picked up the lone doubles win for Frostburg on the day, taking the No. 1 match with a 6-3 score. Freshman Peter Barun and senior Del Carden came up close in their doubles contest, falling by a score of 6-4 in the second pairing as WVWC won the doubles point.
