UW-Platteville celebrates National-Student Athlete Day at luncheon

PLATTEVILLE, Wis. —The University of Wisconsin-Platteville athletic department celebrated National Student-Athlete Day on Monday. The celebration marked UW-Platteville’s 29th observance of National Student-Athlete Day. The day is set aside to recognize those students who fully embrace and excel in both academics and athletics. As a way to recognize the student-athletes’ achievements in the classroom, each team had a representative at a luncheon which was hosted in the Markee Pioneer Student Center.
