Valkyries Earn First 2024 Sweep of NCAA Opponent With 7-0 Defeat of King
BRISTOL, Tenn. – For the first time in their 2024 campaign, the Converse University women's tennis team (6-10, 1-4 Conference Carolinas) swept an NCAA opponent by defeating the King Tornado (0-12, 0-4 Conference Carolinas) by a final score of 7-0 Monday afternoon in Bristol. King, who only has four players on their roster, forfeit No. 3 singles each match. Only needing to win one of the two doubles matches, senior Natalie White and sophomore Khushi Kharb secured a 6-1 victory at No. 2 singles to claim the point.
