Women’s tennis eclipses Lynchburg with dominant ODAC win
DANVILLE, Va. — In almost the same amount of time it took for the solar eclipse to pass through the region, No. 47 Averett University women’s tennis rolled past University of Lynchburg 9-0 in Old Dominion Athletic Conference action on Monday afternoon at the Averett Tennis Courts. Averett (10-4, 6-0 ODAC), ranked No. 10 in the region, dominated Lynchburg (2-10, 1-6 ODAC) from the start in doubles play.
