York Named Softball Player of the Week

WASHINGTON, D.C. – Saint Joseph's sophomore outfielder Riley York has been named Atlantic 10 Softball Player of the Week, organization officials announced on Monday. Helping the Hawks to a 3-0 weekend with wins over George Mason, York hit .625 with a 1.625 slugging percentage, two home runs, two doubles, four runs scored and three RBI. On Saturday, York combined to go 3-for-5 with a double and home run as St. Joe's topped the Patriots 8-3 and 6-0.
