Arvai Named NEC Rookie of the Week

Merrimack Freshman Madeline Arvai was announced NEC Rookie of the Week by the league office on Tuesday morning. Arvai, a freshman utility player from Rancho Mirage, CA, went 5-15 in the last four games against Stonehill and Sacred Heart. She finished the four games with a combined 6 RBIs. Arvai also has at least one RBI in her last six games. So far this season, Arvai is hitting .289, good for the third best batting average on the team.
