SAN MARCOS, Calif. – For the third time this season, Rasha Badrani of Cal State San Marcos has earned the title as CCAA Women's Track Athlete of the Week. Badrani shattered the CSUSM school record in the 400-meter dash with a career-best time of 54.75 seconds during Saturday's Triton Invitational at UC San Diego. The time, which is an NCAA provisional qualifier, was 0.71 seconds faster than Samantha Showns' 2008 time. Badrani has the fastest time in the 400m among all CCAA student-athletes this season.
