Baseball rallies past Blue Jays, 8-3
PROVIDENCE, R.I. – The JWU (Providence) baseball team rallied for five runs in the eighth to defeat the University of Saint Joseph (CT) 8-3 Tuesday afternoon in Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC) action at the Scotts Miracle-Gro Athletic Complex. The Wildcats (15-6, 6-1 GNAC) trailed 3-1 heading to the seventh before a pair of wild pitches allowed junior Xavier Botelho and sophomore Jack Obert to cross home plate and tie the game.
