University Heights, Ohio – Future North Coast Athletic Conference member John Carroll University scored nine first-inning runs and never looked back in a seven-inning 25-11 thrashing of the Oberlin College baseball team on Tuesday afternoon. Offensively, the Yeomen had 11 hits, headlined by rookie Kyle Baxt who went 3-for-4 with two runs scored, two RBIs, and a walk. Baxt raised his NCAC-leading hit total to 47 and now has 14 multi-hit games on the season, including six contests with three or more hits.
