Boys lacrosse: Sun Prairie edges Verona late in season opener
Senior Andrew Lalik had a hat trick, but the Verona boys lacrosse team lost its season opener 9-8 to Sun Prairie United on Friday, April 6, at Bank of Sun Prairie Stadium. Verona senior Adam Zak opened the scoring with a goal at 8 minutes, 51 seconds in the first quarter. The Wildcats extended their lead on Senior Jacob Frick’s goal at 8:18.
