Delaware State Falls 3-2 to Monmouth Despite Late Lead

WEST LONG BRANCH, NJ --The Delaware State Hornets took a 1-0 lead into the sixth inning, but could not hang on and fell 3-2 to the Monmouth Hawks Tuesday. Senior Yurcaba (0-5) came out of the bullpen for Delaware State (10-20) and took the loss. Freshman Kristin White was a bright spot for the Hornets, starting the ballgame and throwing three scoreless innings, allowing one hit.
