Gilbreath Awarded MEAC Co-Player of the Week Laurel

NORFOLK - Norfolk State junior Rylie Gilbreath has been named the Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference (MEAC) Softball Co-Player of the Week following performances at Maryland Eastern Shore from Apr. 6-7. In the UMES series, GIlbreath recorded two home runs, seven hits, four RBIs, three doubles, and a stolen base on a .583 batting average across the three games. Gilbreath has been a home run queen for the Spartans after hitting her fourth in the past seven games for the Spartans.
