Javon Small enters transfer portal: 5 landing spots for PG

Michigan

Earlier this offseason, Oklahoma State head coach Mike Boynton was fired by the program. He has since landed on his feet as an assistant coach on Dusty May’s Michigan staff. The Wolverines need a point guard after losing Dug McDaniel to Kansas State in the transfer portal, so perhaps adding Boynton’s top scorer is a move they’d like to make.

At Michigan, Small would get the opportunity to play closer to his home state while joining a Big Ten team with one of the most successful head coaches over the past couple of years. Having his former head coach on staff doesn’t hurt either. If Small is willing to help the Wolverines program rebuild, perhaps the two sides could make for a strong pairing.
