Knight Earns First-Career Player of the Week Honors

ST. LOUIS, Mo.- For the first time in her career, Illinois State first baseman, Abby Knight, earned MVC Player of the Week honors as announced by the league office on Tuesday. Knight batted .700 on the week, while hitting her first two homeruns of the year. Knight currently has a seven-game hitting, streak, collecting seven hits in just three games against UIC.
