Ned Farrington named NESCAC Men’s Track Athlete of the Week

HADLEY, Mass. — Bates senior captain Ned Farrington was named NESCAC Men’s Track Athlete of the Week on Tuesday by the New England Small College Athletic Conference, after his outstanding performance at the UMASS Flagship Spring Opener. While the Bates men’s track and field program has had numerous NESCAC Men’s Field Athlete of the Week honorees through the years, Farrington (Cohasset, Mass.) is the first Bobcat to earn NESCAC Men’s Track Athlete of the Week since Ryan Quinn ’11 in 2009.
