No. 21 baseball falls to Virginia Wesleyan
Lynchburg, Va. — The University of Lynchburg baseball team fell to Virginia Wesleyan on Tuesday. After going up 3-0 in the bottom of the first, the Marlins erased the deficit and flipped the game upside down with a nine-run sixth inning. Lynchburg’s starter, Colin McGuire, left the game after working quickly through the first. He did exit with a three-run lead thanks to six hits from the Hornets.
