Pashayan Becomes Third Men’s Consecutive Tennis Player to Earn NWC Honor

By: Antonio Arredondo HILLSBORO, Ore. — The Northwest Conference announced their Student-Athletes of the Week for the week of April 1st through April 8th, with Vahag Pashayan becoming the third straight Bruin men’s tennis athlete to pick up the award, Pashayan led the Bruins to two 9-0 wins over the weekend, including handing the Whitman Blues their first conference loss of the season. Pashayan was a perfect 4-0 in number one doubles and number two singles. Partnering with Nanase Ebisu , the duo beat Whitworth 8-3 and Whitman 8-5.
