Ritter Ties NCAA Record in Win
BRIDGEWATER, Va. – The Shenandoah University baseball team defeated ODAC rival Bridgewater College, 6-5, on the road on Tuesday afternoon. Graduate student, Frankie Ritter, picked up career hit 327, which ties the NCAA Division III record for hits in a career. The Hornets (20-8, 9-6 ODAC) trailed entering the eighth inning, 5-4. A double from Connor Houser tied the game, 5-5. The Eagles (20-11, 8-6) intentionally walked Frankie Ritter, which brought Jaime Padilla to the plate.
