Scopel Earns CACC Field Athlete of the Week

NEW HAVEN, Conn. -- Junior Andrew Scopel (Green Brook, N.J.) has been named CACC Men's Field Athlete of the Week, the league announced today. Scopel set a school record, tossing the javelin 56.84 meters to finish first at the Misericordia Twilight meet on Friday to earn the honor. Additionally, junior Joey Datta (Edison, N.J.) earned men's track honorable mention by matching his own school-best mark of 33:09.46 to win the 10,000 meters.
